SUPPORT
Start with the path that matches the problem.
Gavel's current support model is primarily self-service inside the product. This page points to the implemented recovery, account-data and community-reporting flows without promising a response time that the service does not currently provide.
I cannot sign in
Return to Gavel and choose Forgot Password? on the sign-in screen. Recovery requests use generic messaging and do not reveal whether an email belongs to an account. A valid recovery link lets you set a new password for the same account.
I want my account data
While signed in, open your account's Data & Privacy controls. The supported export includes Gavel account/product data and intentionally excludes passwords and authentication tokens.
The same area provides the guarded account-deletion flow. FINAL OWNER protection can block deletion until OWNER access is transferred.
I found abusive or inappropriate content
Use the in-product Report control on a supported Case or approved argument. Reports go to the moderation workflow; they do not automatically remove content. Report submission is authenticated, duplicate-protected and rate-limited.
I see a security or account-integrity problem
Do not test a suspected issue by accessing another player's data, bypassing authentication, manipulating votes or repeatedly probing protected actions. Stop at the minimum evidence needed to describe the problem. Use the available account recovery/security controls first and avoid sharing credentials or tokens.
Other issues
If the app shows a retry/reload action, use it once before repeating a write action. Avoid rapid repeated submissions while a request is still processing. For a content issue, use Community Reports; for access problems, use password recovery; for export/deletion, use Data & Privacy.
A separate direct-contact channel is not represented here because none is currently configured in the product repository. Gavel should add one only when it can be genuinely operated rather than promising direct support that does not exist.
